Ala Vaikunthapuramlo Review: A film as soft and light as a sugar candy

The Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde starrer hit the screens on January 12 and the Trivikram directorial is winning hearts all over. The film has Tabu, Jayaram, Murali Sharma, Sachin Khedekar, Sunil, Navdeep, Sushat, Nivetha Pethuraj and others in key roles.

Bantu (Allu Arjun) is frustrated by his father Valmiki (Murali Sharma) who keeps stopping him from doing things and also for every silly reason. He looks for validation from his father. At the same time, a billionaire called Ramachandra (Jayaram) is unhappy with his son Manohar (Sushanth). How their lives intersect with each other and the secret hidden in the lives is revealed in something you have to watch on screen.

Allu Arjun is a visual delight in this film and watching his performance on screen is an extravaganza. Nobody else could have played the role better. Pooja Hegde’s onscreen chemistry with him makes the audiences feel like love is in the air. Tabu, Jayaram, Murali Sharma, Sunil, Sachin Khedekar and Samuthirakhani have played their roles amazingly well. There is a lot of humour and spontaneity in the film that will make the audiences see the Trivikram mark.

Songs and background score of the film are worth watching the film again and again. The scenes in the film, with rich production quality elevate the beauty of the film. PS Vinod’s camera work is amazing. Butta Bomma song is beautiful.

This festive season, this film is the winner.
