Amazon Prime delivery app is in its shut down way

The famous online shopping app Amazon has decided to shut down its 2-hour delivery app Prime in India. They had launched this app in the year 2016, and now slowly, they will replace it to Amazon Fresh.

Amazon did not announce that, but it is displaying the message those people who have registered with Prime, that message is showing that prime is getting a move to Amazon Fresh, where customers can get all grocery items. This app has already launched in the last year of August. This was piloted in Bengaluru, and very soon they will expend in the other six cities.

Amazon has decided to move Prime Now app to Amazon Fresh, but due to Covid-19, it has become postponed, but after the recovery of Covid, they will make the changes immediately. The reason for switching this is due to less growth, and Amazon Prime could not be able to achieve this. This application was launched for Android and iOS people, and it has 10 million downloads on Google Play.

Currently, Amazon Prime offers two hours of delivery for those items like groceries, electronics, household items, gifts, seasonal items, and much more. This is exclusively for Amazon Prime members. Currently, Amazon is making another one new app, which is their leading platform, and they have launched another new app for iOS, and Android users which users can start downloading. Amazon is asking in their old app to download the new one, and it will end to support it. In this new app, user can do UPI and money transfer.
