The latest news update that is doing rounds in media is that superstar Mahesh Babu is all set to replace King Akkineni Nagarjuna as the host of Bigg Boss Telugu season 4, which will have brand new format.

The first three seasons of Bigg Boss Telugu have become hit with the audience. In fact, the popularity of the Telugu reality TV show has grown a notch bigger with each of its seasons. Junior NTR, Nani and Akkineni Nagarjuna hosted its season 1, 2 and 3, respectively. Their presence has been a key factor in its growing popular.

It was recently reported that the bosses of Star Maa have already started preparing to launch the fourth season of Bigg Boss Telugu. Some reported that Nagarjuna would continue to host this season too, while others were speculating that Junior NTR has agreed to comeback on the show.

But the latest buzz is that the makers of Bigg Boss 4 Telugu have approached superstar Mahesh Babu, who is said to have shown interest in hosting this season of the show. Currently, talks regarding his remuneration and shooting schedules are said to be going on. Once these are finalized, he is likely to sign the deal. However, the makers have not made an official confirmation about approaching him.

It is also rumour that that Bigg Boss Telugu 4 will be way different from its previous seasons as the makers have changed the format of the show. The show is expected to be launched in August
