The Coronavirus has hit India severely and there are more than 55,000 cases currently and rising with each minute. Since the start, the government has very proactive and hence issued a lockdown for everyone’s safety. Now it’s been more than a month of the lockdown and there are still cases rising every single day. The problem is a lot of people do not have the correct information about how to be safe and what are the Covdi19 symptoms and many times people are not willing to come forward as they are scared.

Hence to fight this issue a new initiative called Jaanch Bachaye Jaan by ACT Grants has started and it aims to educate people about the importance of Covid-19 testing. It has also collaborated with many influencers from the Bollywood industry to help spread the message. Few of the celebs who are a part are Hritik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan and they each discussed it in their videos. “To win a battle you need to know your enemy first,” said Hrithik, adding: “Testing is the first step we can take as responsible Indians in our fight against this pandemic. Let’s join the movement and support our frontline workers by voluntarily getting tested and help flatten the curve.” Saif felt people need to “rely on each other now more than ever”, adding that there is a need to remove the stigma associated with COVID-19 testing. “We are living in very challenging times, and we rely on each other now more than ever. We need to support each other and remove the stigma from COVID-19 testing. It is our responsibility to get tested. I urge every Indian to spread awareness about COVID-19 testing and get tested if you have symptoms. Get tested to protect yourself, your family, and all of us too,” he added.
