Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar and Dinesh Vijan have exchanged the release dates of their upcoming Hindi movies like Angrezi Medium, Gunjan Saxena and Roohi Afza.

Proper planning of the release of a film is one of the important aspects, which decide its fate at the box office. But of late, some filmmakers are struggling to find good release dates for their movies. This issue has led to a clash between two movies and ended up incurring losses to its producers and distributors. But Karan Johar is one of the smart filmmakers from B-Town, who find a safe way for their films.

Karan Johar has now exchanged the release dates of his films with that of Dinesh Vijan. He tweeted, “Friendships in the fraternity are rare but when they exist …they are empowering! Dinoo and I have have made an exchange of dates! ANGREZI MEDIUM will come a week earlier on the GUNJAN SAXENA date 13th of March.2020 and GUNJAN SAXENA takes the ROOHI AFZA date 24th April 2020.”

Angrezi Medium, GunjanSaxena and Roohi Afza would now be released on March 13, April 24 and June 5, respectively. Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#KaranJohar and #DineshVijan exchange *release dates* of their respective films… Here are the new release dates… ⭐ #AngreziMedium: 13 March 2020. ⭐  #GunjanSaxena: 24 April 2020.⭐ #RoohiAfza, which was slated for release on 24 April 2020, will get a new release date.
