Mi India to Donate Rs 15 Crores as Pandemic Relief

Mi India has now pledged to donate at least Rs 15 crores towards the PM-Cares Relief Fund created exclusively to combat the latest pandemic. Folks at the company have confirmed this development via micro-blogging site Twitter.

“We are pledging to donate ₹15 Crores to PMCaresFunds and CMReliefFund. In these testing times, all of us need to come together to safeguard our nation. You can also contribute via donations to GiveIndia on Mi.com,” reads the official tweet.

Now, this is a noble gesture by an electronics manufacturing brand in India. Other companies should at least follow this lead. It is worth noting that there are a few brand sin India only interested in doling out unwanted “tech advises” to people and making profit in the name of “offers”.

Mi India, would also donate Rs 10 crores to the CM Relief Funds across states to combat the pandemic. It also said that there was a partnership with Give India to raise Rs 1 crore for hygiene kits to be distributed to atleast 20000 families in India.
