“I want the fence-sitters to join in. The use of NRC, CAA and NPR has been to divert attention from unemployment, price rise. The Government should indulge in dialogue and communication with protestors at Shaheen Bagh. Dialogue is the only way to resolve any issue,” she said.

Anupam Kher took a video to Twitter last night to respond to Shah’s statement. “Janab Naseeruddin Shah saab ke liye mera pyar bhara pranam. Woh mujhse bade hai. Umar mein bhi aur tajurbe mein bhi. Mein humesha unke kala ka izzat karta aya hoon aur karta rahunga. Par kabhi kabhi baaton ka do tuk jawab dena zaroori hota. yeh hai mera jawab,” The video was captioned by Kher.
