OnePlus Z, also known as the OnePlus Nord, has been teased online several times over a few months. After the last OnePlus launches, people tipsters started speculating for the new devices and leaked several essential specifications. Ever Since OnePlus increased its original lineup prices, OnePlus Z became a fan favorite even before its release. OnePlus Z was recently spotted on the TUV Rheinland certification site; this site awards certification for low blue light emission standards.
The device was listed as having a 5V/6A charging speed, which means it will have 30W fast charging support, which is the same as the latest OnePlus flagship device. Speculations suggest that OnePlus is planning an event on July 10 to release the device worldwide. The OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro recently hit Indian stores even after being launched back in April. It happened because of the nationwide lockdown.
It will be inserted to see whether OnePlus will be able to sell its new devices after the money crunch in the market. Carl Pei, the OnePlus CEO, retweeted an old tweet from 2014, which announced the OnePlus One launching leading people to believe that the OnePlus Z will be reasonably priced. At that period, OnePlus’s focus was to create a flagship killer with the best specs at a lower price. It will be interesting to see the company apply a similar formula with this device.
The OnePlus Z is tipped to be priced at Rs. 24,000 for the 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory variant. It will have 5G capabilities with Snapdragon 765 SoC and a quad-camera set up with a primary lens of 64 megapixels and an ultra-wide lens coupled with a macro lens and depth sensor. The event is scheduled to be held on July 10 though there isn’t any confirmation from the company. OnePlus has also teased a new lineup of Smart TV, which will be cheaper than the series announced last year. It will soon hit the market and rival against Smart TV’s from other Chinese manufacturers like Xiaomi.
