Parineeti Chopra’s virtual coffee date will feed 4000 family members of daily wage earners

Bollywood celebrities have been doing their bit to help the people who have lost their jobs and have no money for food due to Coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown. From donating ration, money to PM cares fund, money for groceries, they’ve tried to do their best and help the people in need. Besides donation celebs have also come up with unique ways to raise funds, be it Farah Khan’s daughter selling paintings, Ajun Kapoor agreeing for a virtual dinner and also selling items from his wardrobe to Karan Johar and Zoya Akhtar’s I for India online concert.

Now another celeb who has joined the bandwagon is Parineeti Chopra. After supporting COVID-19 relief funds, actor Pareenti Chopra has stepped forward to help the needy by deciding to go on a virtual date to feed 4000 family members of 1000 daily wage earners of our country. Parineeti has come on board to help raise funds for GiveIndia’s Mission: Ration Kit that aims at delivering food to those most affected by the crisis. Parineeti Chopra is doing the contribution in association with Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula’s breakthrough charity initiative Fankind. In an interview, with a media portal, she said, “There are millions of unemployed daily wage earners who are struggling to make two ends meet today due to the coronavirus crisis in our country. During the COVID-19 national lockdown, they are unable to earn and that is putting them at high risk! Fankind, GiveIndia and I have come together to try and help them and their families by providing them with ration kits.”
