Silambarasan’s (STR) Pathu Thala has inched closer to Rs 40 crore gross mark at the worldwide box office in the eight-day-extended first week and become the fourth highest grosser of the year 2023.

Released in over 1200 screens across the globe, the Silambarasan starrer opened to superb response and went on to make decent business in the following days. Pathu Thala has collected Rs 27.20 crore gross at the Tamil Nadu box office and Rs 5.75 crore gross in other parts of the world in the first week. Its eight-day-total collection stands at Rs 32.95 crore gross.

The makers of Pathu Thala are thrilled over its performance at the worldwide box office in its opening week. Our film today entered 2’d week in over 300 screens in Tamil Nadu and across the globe in over 500 screens,” the producer said in a statement released to the media.
