Kannada filmmaker Rakshit Shetty shared a video featuring a beautiful memory of his ex Rashmika Mandanna from the audition of Kirik Party on her birthday and wished her success.

Rashmika Mandanna, who is one of the most popular young actresses of India, turned 25 on Monday, April 5. Many fans and celebs from across the globe wished her on her birthday. What surprised the most among them was the wishes from her ex-boyfriend Rakshit Shetty, who shared the video of her audition for her debut movie Kirik Party, which gave her big break.

Rakshit Shetty took to his Twitter account to wish his ex Rashmika Mandanna on Monday. He shared a video and captioned it with, “Sharing this beautiful memory of yours from the @KirikParty audition. You have travelled so far since then, chasing you’r dreams like a real worrier. Proud of you girl and Happy Birthday to you. May you see more success @iamRashmika.”

Rashmika Mandanna was quick to respond to Rakshit Shetty and thanked him for his wishes. The actress retweeted his post and wrote, “Ahhhh.. I remember this sooooo clearly.. thankyou so much @rakshitshetty 😁 means a lot. 🤗”

Rakshit Shetty began dating Rashmika Mandanna after meeting her on the sets of Kirik Party. The couple got engaged on 3 July 2017 in a private ceremony in her hometown of Virajpet. They mutually broke off their engagement in September 2018, citing compatibility issues. Though they have peacefully moved on in their lives, upset Rakshit’s fans have trolled the actress on several occasion and they decline to stop it.

Many of his fans were unhappy with Rakshit Shetty for wishing Rashmika Mandanna on her birthday. Some of them asked him why he wished the actress, who ditched him after becoming popular with his support.
