New smartphone brand Realme is now amongst the top premium smartphones in India. This was during the time period of 2019.

At this point in time, the premium smartphones segment is currently dominated by OnePlus that holds 33% market share. The second position is held by Samsung with 26% share followed by Apple at 25%. Realme currently accounts for 2% market share and is placed below Apple in these ratings complied by Counterpoint research.

“I am happy that we have grown into a full scale brand with smartphones ranging from entry level to the premium segment. We are among the top premium smartphone brands in 2019. Reflects the trust users have on Realme,” stated Realme’s Madhav Sheth in an official post on Twitter. This should now be a shot in the arm for current Realme users and loyalists.
