Chhapaak released on 10th January 2020 and is based on a real-life story. The film is not for the faint hearts as it gives an unadulterated reality check. The Deepika Padukone starrer has awakened a lot of unknown facts about the struggles of acid attack survivors.

Deepika Padukone’s Chhapaak has failed the acide test, as its collection has witnessed a huge drop of around 50% on Monday and Tuesday, The movie has failed to cross Rs 25 crore mark at the Indian box office in 5 days.

Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji has witnessed a big growth in its collection at the Indian box office on its second day. Two-week-old film Good Newzz is making bigger collection than Chhapaak in lesser number of screens on its third Saturday.
