With today being 2 March 2020, BSNL India is still yet to launch full-fledged 4G services across the country, across all its telecom circles. This naturally leads to the question of “If not now, when?
At this juncture, it is worth understanding that BSNL was hugely expected by its users and loyalists in India to roll-out full-fledged 4G services by 1 March 2020. There are no signs of the network materializing for now.
Hence, it should do BSNL a world of good to roll-out 4G at least by the early part of March 2020. This could help it to gain more subscribers – especially those porting out of other rival networks.
Also, at a point when some telcos are laden with huge debts and staring at a rumoured exit from India’s telecom sector, BSNL could capitalize on this if it were to roll out 4G on an imminent basis. In summary, we as loyalists could now expect the government-owned telco to begin 4G operations by atleast the second week of March 2020.
