Sai Dharam Tej’s Virupaksha has continued to make superb collection at the worldwide box office on the weekday and in five days, the movie has turned another Tollywood blockbuster of 2023 after Dasara.

Riding on huge hype, Virupaksha opened to fantastic response in cinema halls across the globe and went to do decent business over the weekend. The Sai Dharam Tej starrer went on to collect Rs 37 crore gross at the worldwide box office in three days. The film earned Rs 20.60 crore for its distributors.

As is the trend, The debutant Karthik Varma Dandu-directed flick witnessed around 50% drop in its business on Monday, but it remained rock-steady on Tuesday. Virupaksha collected Rs 11.90 crore gross at teh worldwide box office in thest two days, taking its five-day-total collection to Rs 48.90 crore gross.

Virupaksha fetched Rs 22.80 crore to its producers from the sales of its theatrical rights in its pre-release business. The movie has earned Rs 27.58 crore for its distributors in two days. Having got them Rs 4.68 crore profits, the film is expected to fetch more amount of money to them as profit share in the coming days.
