Vodafone, Airtel, and Jio roll out prepaid plans under Rs 200

Telecommunications giants Vodafone, Airtel, and Jio introduces new monthly prepaid plans less than rupees 200 for users who either use their mobiles for excessive phone calls or data purposes.

The new prepaid plans would mostly suit customers who do not require much data benefits from the operators.

Vodafone

Vodafone has rolled out three monthly prepaid recharge plans under rupees 200 for Rs 129, Rs 149, and Rs 199.

Both the 129 and 149 plans offer 2 GB data usage, with a validity of 24 days and 28 days, respectively. The plans also offer 300 SMS per day. The 199 plan offers 1 GB data usage per day, with unlimited calls to any network and 100 SMS per day. The plan also includes free subscription to Zee5 and Vodafone Play. The plan comes with a validity of 24 days.

Airtel

Airtel has introduced data usage friendly prepaid recharge plans under rupees 200. The new plans are fixed at the rates of Rs 98, Rs 149, and Rs 179. The 99 plan allows 6 GB data usage to the customers with a validity of 28 days. The 149 plan offers 2 GB data usage per day, with unlimited calls to any network. It also includes 300 SMS per day and comes with a validity of 28 days. The 179 plan offers similar benefits, along with a life insurance cover worth rupees 2 lakh from Bharti AXA Life Insurance.

Reliance Jio Jio offers prepaid recharge plans less than rupees 200, with packs at rates such as Rs 129, Rs 149, and Rs 199. The 129 plan offers2 GB of data usage to the customers, along with unlimited calls between Jio, FUP of 1000 minutes between Jio and other networks, and 300 SMS limit per day. The 149 plan offers 1 GB data usage a day, unlimited Jio to Jio calls, 300 minutes of FUP from Jio to other networks, and 300 SMS a day. 199 plan offers 1.5 GB data a day, unlimited Jio calls, 1000 minutes FUP to other networks, and 100 SMS a day. All plans come with a validity of 28 days.
