India has been under lockdown since March owing to the coronavirus outbreak all across the world and India has also been hit severely. From schools, colleges to offices everything has been shut for the safety of the people and this includes our Bollywood industry too. All the movie shootings that were on were shut and many film releases were put on hold too. Now with the relaxations given by the govt during Lockdown 4, some are eager to start working again while others feel “we should rather wait and watch (before commencing work).” Many Bollywood celebs have come forward and spoken about it and the fact that we must all wait till things turn back to normal as it’s more important than film releases or shootings.
Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal, in a recent interview, also spoke about the same and said that he misses work but also yearns for things to move towards normalcy. “Kaam toh hota rahega, logon ki safety pehle important hai (work will keep happening. People’s safety has to be the priority),” he said, adding that like any other actor, he “too would love to be back at work since it’s something that is closest to my heart”. Vicky further added, “Of course, as an actor, I want to be on sets but at the same time, I feel we also have to think about the larger issue at hand. That way, I am very happy that there’s no film of mine which is stuck in-between.”
Well, we do agree with Vicky on this. Before starting back things again, be it work or shooting of a movie, one must be sure that the problem has been fixed permanently or else it may get worse and affect everyone. What do you think about Vicky’s statement? Let us know in the comments below.
