on Monday, Reliance Jio revealed new steps for its customer for the Covid-19 outbreak. At a time when the coronavirus epidemic is massively affecting organizations’ day-to-day activities, a large number of employees have been moved to work from home.
Coronavirus is spreading pervasively and the government is taking numerous measures to counter the spread of the virus.
The telco said it would provide Jio Fibre connectivity with no service charges, and carry out dual data plus non-Jio calling minutes for its smartphone subscribers.
The fixed broadband service Reliance Jio Fibre will be available at a speed of 10 Mbps “wherever it is geographically feasible”
The telco said that there wouldbe no charges for this service. Jio also said there would be a minimumrefundable deposit available for his home gateway routers. As for current subscribers to Jio Fiber, they can receive double data across all available plans.
Reliance Jio Work From Home plan offers 2 GB of data every day for Rs. 251, and is valid for 51 days.
Nevertheless, the program offers internet advantages only and does not provide any telephone call or SMS advantages. Under this package, the subscribers can use a total of 120 GB of high-speed data.
