At this juncture, it is worth noting that the Indian Railways has managed to turn some of its train coaches into isolation wards in a bid to provide more beds to treat patients of this “Chinese Virus”.  The Railways has made us of its non-AC coaches and turned these into isolation units to treat patients having tested positive for the pandemic.

A single coach (non-AC) of a train can hold up to 9 patients in isolation. These would consist of space to house all equipments required for treating patients within these coaches.

Finally, as far as commitment towards combating the pandemic is considered, it is worth noting that even technology companies have come forward to join hands for nobler causes. These include the likes of Xiaomi India, Microsoft India, Intel India, and many others.
